There are also other problems which cause the cathode-ray tube to show a spot on the screen. One common problem is called “cold cathode” where there is no red light showing up on the screen. This means that the cathode is totally cold and this problem usually happens with CRT televisions made in the 1980s.

The reason why the cathode-ray tubes are affected by this condition is because of the fact that when the cathode is exposed to extreme heat, the phosphors will burn and this makes them lose their color. The CRT display will no longer be able to provide the quality images that you desire. In order to solve this problem, you need to remove the cathode if it is not too much of a problem and then clean it. You can use special cleaning solution, which is designed for this purpose.

When your cathode-ray tube television shows a spot or shows any kind of spot, you need to take it to a technician right away. A technician can diagnose the problem and fix it as well as give you tips and suggestions to fix it.

When you choose to have your cathode-ray tubes repaired by a repair technician, you should also make sure that you are choosing a technician who is certified and experienced. You might find out that some technicians charge a lot of money and do not deliver what they promise. If you want to save a lot of money, you should opt for a technician who works at home.
